O lançamento do livro "De Portugal à China"- Ciclo de Conferências, decorreu no dia 4 de Dezembro, às 18h, na sala do Arquivo Histórico, nos Paços do Concelho (Praça do Município de Lisboa). Esta obra foi editada pelo Observatório da China e pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, com o apoio da Gradiva, da Fundação Macau, da UCCLA e da Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Luso-Chinesa (CCILC). Os textos incluídos foram elaborados por 10 diferentes especialistas, dois chineses e os restantes portugueses (Prof. Doutora Ângela Loureiro Esteves Guimarães, Prof. Doutor António Manuel Martins do Vale, Prof. Doutor Fernando António Baptista Pereira, Prof. Doutor Moisés da Silva Fernandes, Mestre Jin Guoping, Dr. João Mário Eusébio Mascarenhas, Engenheiro Raimundo do Rosário, Mestre Rui D’Ávila de Fontes Alferes Lourido, Prof. Doutor Rui Manuel Loureiro, Doutor Wu Zhiliang).
A apresentação académica do livro esteve a cargo da muito conceituada Professora Catedrática Ana Maria Amaro (ISCSP-UTL). Na mesa da sessão intervieram igualmente: o Director da Cultura da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, em nome da Vereadora da Cultura e do Presidente da CML, Dr. Francisco Mota Veiga; o Secretário-geral da UCCLA e Conselheiro de Estado, Eng. Miguel Anacoreta Correia; a Gradiva enquanto editora/distribuidora, com a presença do Dr. Guilherme Valente; e o Presidente do Observatório da China e Coordenador da obra, Mestre Rui Lourido. Cada um dos membros da mesa, numa perspectiva pessoal, destacou determinados aspectos e textos do livro, realçando o facto de o mesmo ser um contributo esclarecido, fundamentado e importante para o aprofundamento do conhecimento sobre as relações entre Portugal e a China.
No final, a cantora Cao Bei interpretou canções do reportório chinês e do fado português.
A apresentação pública deste livro encerrou o programa de iniciativas “Macau-China em Lisboa”.

The presentation of the book "From Portugal to China" ("De Portugal à China"), held on 4 December 2010, in room of the Historical Archives in the Town Hall. This work was recently published by the Observatory for China (Observatório da China) and the Lisbon City Council (Câmara Municipal de Lisboa), with the support of Gradiva, Macau Foundation (Fundação Macau), UCCLA and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Luso-Chinese(Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Luso-Chinesa- CCILC). The texts included were written by 10 different specialists, two Chinese and the others Portuguese (Prof. Dra. Angela Loureiro Esteves Guimarães, Prof. António Manuel Martins do Vale, Professor. Dr. Fernando António Baptista Pereira, Professor. Dr. Moisés Silva Fernandes, Jin Guoping, Dr. John Mario Eusebio Mascarenhas, Eng. Raimundo do Rosário Master Rui D'Ávila de Fontes Alferes Lourido, Prof. Rui Manuel Loureiro, Dr. Wu Zhiliang).
The book's scholarly presentation was given by the highly regarded Prof. Ana Maria Amaro (FCT-UTL). In table session also involved: the Director of Culture of the Municipality of Lisbon; on behalf of Councillor for Culture and the President of CML, Dr. Francisco Mota Veiga; UCCLA's Secretary-General and State Councillor, Eng. Miguel Anacoreta Correia; Gradiva as the publisher / distributor, with the presence of Dr. Guilherme Valente, and the President of the Observatory for China (Observatório da China) and Coordinator of the work, Master Rui Lourido. Each of the officers, in a personal perspective, highlighted certain aspects of the text book, highlighting the fact that the same be a contribution clear, reasoned and important for the deepening of knowledge about the relations between Portugal and China.
In the end, singer Cao Bei performed songs from the Chinese repertoire and Portuguese fado.
The public presentation of this book ended the program initiatives "Macao-China in Lisbon" ("Macau-China em Lisboa").
