Título da comunicação: "Oriente/Ocidente: a poesia de Alberto Estima de Oliveira, a arte de Tomie Ohtake".

RESUMO:
O binômio Oriente/Ocidente é descrito, muitas vezes, em determinada tradição discursiva, como um par de polaridades essencialmente antagônico, no entanto, as redes de contatos que o envolvem e que se formaram histórica e geograficamente evidenciam ações afirmativas de interatividade constantes. Este Seminário pretende refletir sobre articulações estéticas híbridas em contextos de trocas culturais complexos a partir da poesia de Alberto Estima de Oliveira (1934 - 2008), escrita em Macau, e da obra da artista nipo-brasileira Tomie Ohtake (1913), realizada no Brasil. Com 7 títulos publicados em Macau, entre 1987 e 1999 e, mais recentemente, com uma primeira antologia publicada em Portugal, em 2003, Alberto Estima de Oliveira foi inventor de uma poesia densa e criativa, uma das mais expressivas em língua portuguesa, radicalmente aberta ao outro no diálogo constante com os mundos possíveis da realidade humana. Tomie Ohtake nasceu em Kioto e chegou ao Brasil em 1936, com 23 anos, sendo, hoje, uma das assinaturas mais consagradas no campo das Artes, tendo realizado mais de uma centena de exposições e recebido, pelo menos, uma dezena de prêmios. Se, como afirma Haroldo de Campos, a crítica não tem elementos para identificar claramente a maneira pessoal como a artista está ligada às raízes japonesas, poder-se-ia apontar, por outro lado, para a o lugar enigmático que Macau ocupa na constituição da poesia de Alberto Estima de Oliveira. Ao evitar a referencialização, o silêncio torna-se uma mola fundante do ser da poesia deste último. Na obra daquela, ao se transpor o figurativismo, o vazio passa a intensificar o corpo/cor que abriga as mais diversas formas. Ambos foram artistas independentes com percursos pessoais. E, sobretudo, ambos articularam o binômio Oriente/Ocidente rasurando a antiga dicotomia em sensíveis vibrações.
O SEMINÁRIO: Este seminário será constante e servira para qualquer investigador que estude Macau apresentar, na data que ele escolher, uma palestra sobre a sua investigação. Pode ter lugar em qualquer dia do ano, e servirá também de apoio para a revista e para que Portugal seja cada vez mais a plataforma de investigação europeia/ocidental sobre Macau. É coordenado por Rogério Miguel Puga (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), sendo uma iniciativa conjunta do Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS) e do Centro de História de Além-Mar (CHAM), da Universidade Nova. Title of Paper: "East / West: the poetry of Alberto Estima de Oliveira, the art of Tomie Ohtake.

SUMMARY:
The binomial East / West is described, often in a particular discursive tradition, like a pair of essentially antagonistic polarities, however, networks of contacts that involve and that formed historically and geographically affirmative evidence of interaction constants. This seminar intends to discuss joint hybrid aesthetic in the context of complex cultural exchanges from the poetry of Alberto Estima de Oliveira (1934 - 2008), written in Macau, and the work of Brazilian artist Tomie Ohtake Japan-(1913), held in Brazil . With seven titles published in Macao between 1987 and 1999, and more recently, with a first anthology published in Portugal in 2003, Alberto Estima de Oliveira was the inventor of a dense poetry and creative, one of the most expressive English, radically open another in constant dialogue with the possible worlds of human reality. Tomie Ohtake was born in Kyoto and arrived in Brazil in 1936, aged 23, is today one of the most recognizable signatures in the field of arts, having conducted more than a hundred exhibitions and received at least a dozen awards. If, as Haroldo de Campos, the criticism has no evidence to clearly identify the personal way how the artist is connected with Japanese roots, would be able to point out, moreover, to the enigmatic place that deals in Macau lodging poetry Alberto Estima de Oliveira. By avoiding frame of reference, the silence becomes a spring of poetry is the foundation him. In that work, when transposed the figurative, the gap begins to intensify the body / color that houses the most diverse forms. Both were independent artists with backgrounds. Above all, both articulated the binomial East / West dichotomy in the old strikeout sensitive vibrations.
THE SEMINAR: This seminar will be constant and served to any researcher who studies Macao present at the time he chooses, a lecture on his research. Can take place any day of the year, and will also serve to support the magazine and to which Portugal is increasingly a platform for research European / Western on Macao.
