Exposição "As Grandes Viagens Marítimas da China" / Exhibition "The Great Maritime Travel of China",

Está patente desde dia 28 de Maio, no Centro de Exposições de Odivelas a Exposição das Grandes Viagens Marítimas da China, organizada pela Câmara de Odivelas e o Observatório da China, que contou com o apoio da UCCLA e da Embaixada da República Popular da China.
Esta iniciativa, integrada nas “Rotas”, vem lembrar-nos as ligações que os Portugueses tiveram com o Oriente e é também uma homenagem ao contributo dos navegantes Chineses para o conhecimento náutico e para o fortalecimento das rotas comerciais.
A cerimónia de inauguração contou com a presença de cerca de 50 pessoas, que fizeram uma visita guiada à exposição ouvindo as explicações de Rui Lourido – investigador e Presidente do Observatório da China. De seguida teve lugar um dos momentos altos da noite com um apontamento musical protagonizado pela Cantora Chinesa de renome nacional – Cao Bei que com a sua Harpa nos deliciou com alguns temas chineses, tendo finalizado a sua actuação com o Fado “Lágrima”.
O Vice-Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Odivelas e responsável pelo pelouro da Cultura, Mário Máximo, marcou presença e dirigiu algumas palavras aos presentes. Também Rui Lourido, Sra Liu Wenqiu – Conselheira da Embaixada da China, agradeceram a presença de todos.

Is patent since May 28, at the Exhibition Center of Odivelas the Exhibition of "The Great Maritime Travel of China", organized by the Municipality of Odivelas (Câmara Municipal de Odivelas) and the Observatory for China (Observatório da China), which had the support of UCCLA and the Embassy Republic Popular of China.
This initiative built on "Routes", reminds us that the Portuguese had links with the East and is also a tribute to the contribution of the Chinese sailors to nautical knowledge and the strengthening of trade routes.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by about 50 people, who made a tour of the exhibition heard the explanations of Rui Lourido - researcher and President of the Observatory for China (Observatório da China). Then took place one of the highlights of the night with a musical note played by the nationally renowned Chinese singer - Cao Bei with his harp that delighted us with some Chinese themes, having finished his performance with the Fado "tear" ("lágrima").
The Deputy Mayor of Odivelas and Commissioner responsible for Culture, Mário Máximo, has attended and addressed a few words to those present. Also Rui Lourido, Miss Liu Wenqi - Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy (Embaixada da China), thanked all for coming.
