About the Journal

The European Journal of Macao Studies (ISSN 1647-5771) is an online annual publication of the Centre for English, Translation, and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS, New University of Lisbon/University of Oporto, Portugal).
The European Journal of Macao Studies (EJMS) is an international forum for debate in all fields of study related to Macao, from the earliest period of the enclave to the present days of the Special Administrative Region. The Journal is published in English and Portuguese to promote the study and discussion of Macao Studies not only in Europe but all over the world, publishing lively and thoughtful articles on a broad range of topics from history, literature, linguistics, sociology to anthropology, architecture, music, cultural studies, critical theory and visual arts. Inter-disciplinary and inter-arts studies and book reviews are also invited.

A Revista Europeia de Estudos de Macau (ISSN 1647-5771) é uma publicação anual online do Centro de Inglês, Tradução e Estudos Anglo-Português (CETAPS, Universidade Nova de Lisboa / Universidade do Porto, Portugal).
A Revista Europeia de Estudos de Macau (EJMS) é um fórum internacional de debate em todos os campos de estudo relacionados com Macau, a partir do primeiro período do enclave até aos dias actuais da Região Administrativa Especial. A Revista é publicada em Inglês e Português para promover o estudo e discussão de Estudos de Macau, não só na Europa mas em todo o mundo, publicando artigos animados e sérios numa ampla gama de tópicos de história, literatura, linguística, da sociologia à antropologia, arquitetura , música, estudos culturais, teoria crítica e artes visuais. As opiniões inter-disciplinares, os estudos inter-artes e resenhas de livros também são convidados.
